The sword of Habsburg!
The son of King Albrecht I, Leopold pursued his father’s murderers remorselessly. Afterwards he promoted the election of his elder brother Frederick (‘the Fair’) as Roman-German anti-king. After a lifetime spent fighting, notably against the Swiss Confederation, the duke died at the age of thirty-six in Strasbourg.
