The bridal entry of Crown Princess Stephanie of Belgium, the bride of Crown Prince Rudolf, was in no way inferior to that of the young Elisabeth. The streets were lined with large wooden structures decorated with garlands, flags and plants - a pompous spectacle, to the delight of onlookers.
